Artificial Intelligence Law and AI Act Compliance

The Firm provides legal advice and assistance, both in out-of-court matters and litigation, in the field of artificial intelligence law and advanced digital systems, with particular focus on the technological transformation of business models.

In this area, the Firm supports companies, start-ups and economic operators in managing the legal issues related to the development, implementation and use of artificial intelligence systems, assisting them in assessing legal risks, structuring organizational models and defining strategies compliant with the European and national regulatory framework.

Particular attention is devoted to the regulation of artificial intelligence and, in particular, to compliance with EU Regulation 2024/1689 on AI (the so-called AI Act), which introduces differentiated obligations depending on the level of risk of the systems used. The Firm assists clients in the following activities:

• classification of AI systems and risk analysis;
• compliance with regulatory requirements (transparency, data governance, technical documentation, human oversight);
• drafting of internal policies and control procedures;
• management of contractual relationships within the technology value chain (developers, providers, deployers);
